Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026
1. Data controller
The controller of your data is Snapidly IKE, based in Athens, Greece (VAT EL802131808). For any data-protection matter: privacy@snapidly.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect only what the service needs:
- When you leave a review (no account): your scores and optional comment, together with cryptographically hashed identifiers of your device and IP address. These identifiers are used solely to prevent duplicate or abusive reviews and are designed not to identify you directly.
- When you create an account (professionals/businesses): your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account, plus whatever you fill into your profile (display name, profession, photo, business details such as name and VAT number, employments).
- Technical logs for the security and operation of the service.
3. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: the session cookie for signed-in users and the language-preference cookie. We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
4. Why we process it (legal bases)
- To provide the service — accounts, profiles, displaying reviews (performance of a contract).
- To prevent abuse — hashed identifiers against duplicate reviews (legitimate interest).
- For aggregate ratings and platform statistics (legitimate interest).
- To comply with legal obligations, where required.
5. What is public
The service is public by design with respect to: professional and business profiles (subject to the SnapCard visibility settings each professional controls), aggregate ratings, and review comments. Reviewers always appear anonymous. Reviews remain part of aggregate ratings after an employment ends, insofar as they concern that period.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers needed to run the service: Google (for account sign-in) and our EU-based hosting provider, and with authorities where the law requires it.
7. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while the account is active. Reviews are kept for the consistency of aggregate ratings. Hashed reviewer identifiers are kept for as long as the anti-abuse mechanisms require.
8. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR. Contact privacy@snapidly.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
9. Children
The service is not directed at children under 15, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest change. For any question about your data: privacy@snapidly.com.
